Missy Lyons lives a simple country life just outside of Nashville, TN. She is a wife and mother to one beautiful daughter, and has been pursuing a career in writing for the last five years. She writes anywhere she has the time and can often times be found writing while watching her daughter practice soccer or karate. She is a member of RWA and her local chapter, Music City Romance Writers, and active in several online communities such as Romance Divas and From the Heart. She has also been doing graphic art design for the last year or so as a freelancer as well as writing.
She is a multi-genre author and loves to write red hot romance! But before she was writing professionally, she had spent years working in sales, real estate, and healthcare. Like many authors, she was interested in writing at a young age, but was quickly discouraged because it was and still is a competitive industry and very difficult to make a viable income from it. One day, with the support of her husband, she decided to revisit her first love and just begin to write again. Over the next several years, she hopes to make the transition to write full time.
Today she lives quietly with her family and a menagerie of animals, including, cats, several border collies, rabbits, and chickens. When she has time to devote to her hobbies, she spends that quiet time in her garden, cooking, or writing.
